BLESSED, praised, worshipped, and adored be our Lord Jesus Christ on his throne of glory in heaven, and in the most holy Mysteries of his Body and Blood.
R. Amen.

Antiphon: Thou didst give us Bread from heaven: * so man did eat angels' food. (Alleluia)

Nunc Dimittis

LORD, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, * according to thy word. For mine eyes have seen thy salvation, * which thou hast prepared before the face of all people;
To be a light to lighten the Gentiles, * and to be the glory of thy people Israel.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, * and to the Holy Ghost.
As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, * world without end. Amen.

Antiphon: Thou didst give us Bread from heaven: * so man did eat angels' food. (Alleluia)

To the Holy Mother of God

O BLESSED Mary, Virgin and Mother most holy, thou wast worthy to bear in thy womb the Creator of all things, and to feed at thy breast him whose true, real, and most holy Body and Blood we have now received; Vouchsafe, we beseech thee, to intercede for us, that we may henceforth render unto him true and faithful service, and persevere to the end in loving union with him; that, at the last, we may with thee, most holy Mother of God, with our holy Father Benedict and with all the Saints, praise and adore him throughout all ages, world without end.

R. AMEN.

To the Blessed Archangel Michael

HOLY Michael, Archangel, defend us in the day of battle; be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray: and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, thrust down into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who wander the world, seeking the ruin of souls.
R. Amen.

BLESSED be our God who sanctifieth us with the holy Mysteries of his Body and Blood: who liveth and reigneth world without end.
R. Amen.

After Requiem Masses the following is said:
